I am Femke Lyklema, founder of Lyklema Fine Art, a Dutch art dealership based in Bilthoven. I specialise in paintings and works on paper from the 19th and 20th centuries, with a particular interest in Dutch art. I studied Art History at Utrecht University and previously worked as Head of the General Paintings Auction at Sotheby’s and at Simonis & Buunk Kunsthandel.

I believe that a carefully chosen work of art can transform an interior and become something to enjoy for generations. I carefully research the works I acquire and select paintings, works on paper and sculptures by Dutch and international artists, with a focus on artistic quality, provenance and authenticity.

Paintings from our collection are carefully conserved by skilled restorers and presented in appropriate frames. Lyklema Fine Art works independently and with a personal approach, allowing us to keep our operation focused and offer carefully selected works at competitive prices.

Personal service is central to the way I work. I advise both experienced collectors and those buying art for the first time, whether they are looking for a particular artist or work, or are building a collection over time. My clients include collectors in the Netherlands and abroad.

Every work offered by Lyklema Fine Art is subject to careful due diligence. We research the work’s history, provenance and authenticity as thoroughly as possible before offering it for sale. 

Easy payment: We accept major credit and debit cards, bank transfers and PayPal.

Worldwide shipping We ship worldwide and take great care in the professional packing of every work of art. Shipping is free within the EU for most works. Additional logistics costs may apply to works larger than 70 × 100 cm and to shipments outside the EU; these costs are available on request.

Easy returns: Please notify us within 14 days if you would like to return an item for any reason. A restocking fee may be applied to cover shipping costs.
