Mauve was a born painter and many of his works were made in and around Laren in an impressionist style. Its flocks of sheep and the moors surrounding the picturesque village are famous. Especially in the spring, this work inspires us to put lamb on the table. Very simple and pure. Just the way Mauve knows how to capture the moment.
Lamb chop with honey and thyme
Sprinkle the chops on both sides with salt and pepper to taste and grill them on the BBQ for about 3 minutes on each side. Let the chops rest for 10 minutes, drizzle with honey and thyme, then grill for another 1 minute on each side for medium-rare. The rest allows the juices to be redistributed throughout the meat.
